|
Tour Itineraries Day 1: Upon arrival Hurghada airport you will be met and assisted by our “Egypt Travel” representative. Check in at your cruise and diving boat. Enjoy your first dive at El Erk El Sagheer then your second dive will be at Abu Nuhas. Overnight at Shaeb Onghosh.
Day 2: After breakfast dive from Gubal to Shaeb Ali. Overnight at Shaeb Ali and a night dive.
Day 3: Explore the legendary wreck of the British freighter Thistlegorm near Shaeb Ali which sank after just 18 months of her launch in April 1940. The cargo includes railway locomotives, motorcycles and a range of ammunition of all sizes. The wreck is now a home for bat fish, jacks, barracudas, surgeon fish and rabbit fish. Night Dive and overnight.
Day 4: After breakfast enjoy your First Dive at Mahmoudat. Second Dive at Abu Nuhas to the wreck Karnatica British ship that struck the reef in 1869. Now the vessel is covered with multi-colored corals and residence to glass fish, octopus and morays, jacks and tuna can also be seen here. Night Dive and overnight at Onghosh.
Day 5: After breakfast enjoy your First Dive at Onghosh. Your Second Dive will be at Seoul Kabir “El Fanar”. Night Dive at Um Gammar. Overnight on board.
Day 6: More diving at Um Gammar then move on to Carlos Reef, known for its vibrant corals, sharks, jacks, tuna and barracuda. Some interesting dives at about 16 meters and other deeper dives beyond 40 meters to explore caves. Night dive at Giftun. Visit the caves or dive in the shallow reefs and see some splendid corals as well as a variety of marine life. Overnight at Giftun.
Day 7: Two dives at the isolated spot Abu Ramada In which fish life here is phenomenal, possibly the richest in the area. The smaller reef fishes are well represented and the sand floor hosts stingrays and even nurse or leopard sharks. Jacks, barracuda and small tuna can often be seen in big schools off the reef and there is always a chance that a gray or white tip reef shark may be seen.
Day 8: Free time. Overnight on board.
Day 9: Disembark and transfer to Hurghada Airport for final departure. Note: The above itinerary subject to change without notice. The itinerary will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, weather, diving ability of guests and the number of other boats already present at the various dive sites.
